Camping Jonio

Camping Jonio overlooks the sea of ​​the Riviera dei Ciclopi, in Catania, Sicily and is located on a terrace of lava cliff, in an area known since ancient times thanks to the legends related to the Cyclops.

It is the perfect place for a seaside holiday and is well suited for diving.

For your stay you will have various types of pitches available, all shaded and equipped with electricity connection. Some pitches are also easily accessible for the physically disabled. Alternatively, you can opt for bungalows for three people, double bed or two single beds. You can also stay in mobile homes with six beds, air conditioning, a kitchen, two bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room. They are also equipped with a terrace with table and chairs and some are located in an area with a sea view. You can also choose the air-conditioned brick house, equipped with a living area with kitchen, two bedrooms, terrace with table and chairs. You can also decide to stay in the apartment located next to the campsite with kitchen, living room, garden view and bedrooms with six beds.

Your four-legged friends are allowed in all accommodation solutions.

Inside the structure you will find a restaurant specializing in traditional cuisine, which also offers the possibility of organizing evenings on the occasion of special events. You will also have the possibility of renting cars, jet skis, boats, canoes and bicycles. The little ones will have large open spaces to play in, the play area and access to the sea supervised by a lifeguard.

For your stay you will have a private beach, entertainment service and video-monitored parking at your disposal. The campsite is also a starting point for discovering the places of eastern Sicily such as Catania, Etna, Aci Castello, Taormina, Syracuse or Agrigento.

The facility organizes guided dives, including night dives, and snorkeling, with equipment rental and guided excursions.
