The Camping Village Il Sole è nestled in the shade of a centuries-old pine forest about 900 meters from the sea and the town of Marina di Grosseto, in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma on the border of the Maremma Natural Park and the Tuscan Archipelago Park. Within a few kilometers you can admire places and towns dating back to the Etruscan, Roman and medieval ages, beaches recognized as among the most beautiful in Italy (Cala Violina, Cala di Forno, Rocchette), as well as numerous oases and nature reserves among the most important in Europe (Diaccia Botrona, Orbetello Lagoon, Burano Lake, etc.). To get around, there are pleasant bicycle and pedestrian paths immersed in the pine forest, but there is of course also the possibility of comfortably using your own car. However, it has a free shuttle service indicatively from midà June to September 10 and a bicycle rental service. OUR PHILOSOPHY Since 1975, the campground has made cordiality and sociality key elements of its management direction. In fact, our staff è always available for any need. The ’goal è is to propose a vacation in the name of convenience and comfort, without, however, forgetting the wonderful environmental context in which we are and the beauty of being in a real campground! In fact, a campsite must be a place where you can breathe cordialityà and where everyone, primarily children, should feel free to socialize and have fun. WHAT WE OFFER The facility has both large shaded pitches from 60 to 100 square meters and five different types of accommodation, so that we can offer a solution to all needs and requirements. Reservations are not required for the pitches (recommended, however, for the busiest periods) and there is the possibility of seasonal contracts among the most convenient. Included in the pitch price are: wi-fii, parking, electricity, shuttle service to the sea, access to the camp's sports facilities such as the swimming pool and soccer and volleyball fields, and chemical ice freezer. Upon request, for a small extra charge, è it is possible to choose pitches with 6A amperage and to use private refrigerators. In all accommodation in the village è there is air conditioning. The proposed price includes all utilities (including air conditioning), wi-fi, parking,shuttle service to the sea, access to the camp's sports facilities such as the swimming pool, fitness park and soccer and volleyball fields. From midà June until the first week of September we offer animation activities and evening entertainment for all ages. Upon request, the management also organizes fishing-tourism days and excursions of all kinds (environmental, historical, enogastronomic, etc.) In the area, a short distance away, there are other interesting leisure proposals, such as sailing, wind-surfing and kite-surfing schools, horseback riding, miniature golf, tennis courts, and adventure parks. During the season, activities and workshops are offered for the little ones with the aim of making them fall in love with nature and its friendly inhabitants. We have a very advantageous agreement with the Tropical bath, which as the crow flies is right in front of the campground and which è the arrival point to the sea of the shuttle. THE ENVIRONMENT AND THE SEA OF TUSCANY The campground holds the leading international awards for environmental excellence and respect (ISO 14001 and EMAS certifications), which testify to its extreme care for the environment.
